All of Lenti's products are lactose and caseinate free, this product certification was issued in 2004 and is verified annually by the third party agency SGS Italy. The absence of lactose and caseinates in the finished products is made possible by the preparation of brines with ingredients that contain no lactose and caseinates. The absence of lactose and caseinates is guaranteed by the application of the company's technical specifications for the product, the health and safety manual and the company's quality control procedures that provide for strict monitoring of:

  • every ingredient;
  • the use of production and processing techniques for each product, none of which include the addition of lactose and caseinates;
  • any necessary risk-management relative to cross-contamination from suppliers' ingredients, where there is a risk;
  • analytical testing of finished products according to plans drawn up and approved by the third party agency.

As a third party agency, SGS Italy also certifies that Lenti's Scelto and Alta Qualità Prosciutto Cotto also maintains a salt content of no more than 1.84%. Lenti products are also allergen-free and do not contain substances or products that can cause allergies or intolerances as referenced in Annex II of EU Regulation n ° 1169/2011.
